Gravity Falls The Night Shift:Were Stan Ch part 2
Sinking deep in his chair, Stan mutters to himself about “putting his mind on other stuff.” And how he should check the expiration dates more often; really shouldn’t have chugged that milk. Some cheesy, trash movie is playing on the TV; he's not really interested in it but good background noise. Awful trash noise, but it keeps the place from feeling quiet and keeps himself from thinking too much. Geeze he feels so tired from overthinking all day. He's so dang worn out he wouldn't mind passing out; he could use sleep. But he’s been lying here with his eyes closed for a while now, so it isn’t working out as fast as he wants it to be. It’s been what, fifteen or twenty minutes? Speaking of which, where the heck are the kids? They should have been down here by now, and he hasn't heard a peep. Either they're passed out in bed, or something else is going on up there. Dipper does hang out in a place a little while after turning since the kiddo did mention he's pretty drained after, though it

Protective Instincts of an Owl Demon
Dark grey wings lift off the ground, trembling. Sensitive to any sort of movement, the demon treats her wings delicately as she makes the steady effort to fold them. Her left wing remaining partly outspread as it doesn’t hurt as long as it stays still. The demon’s wings are not broken as far as she understands. Loose feathers scatter around her as a small gust of wind catches them. Sharp pain eats at her back underneath the shaggy feathers. The owl demon pants as her head stays low, her two long front bangs touching the dirt. The owl demon finds it a struggle to even stand on fours or even turn her body, for that matter, having to limp with her right arm. The hard crash into the ground has left her body aching. While the owl beast has a poor concept of measuring distance, she understands that falling from such a great height is very dangerous. She’s lucky she didn’t receive broken bones. Raising her head to the sky with ears perking, she finds that large cliffs surround her, appearing

GravityFalls The Night Shift:WereStan Ch part 1
Stan slumps over and gives a dry heave as he supports himself with the bathroom sink. Shaky hands grip the rims while his wide eyes stare at the drain below him.
Sweat runs down his face. He's burning so hot he might as well be fresh from the oven.
He coughs harshly, his throat flares up, and his eyes burn. His stomach gurgles sickly.
He better not vomit cause he’s not going to clean up that mess.
He turns on the faucet, cupping water and tossing it as he brings his hands to his face. He presses his fingers tightly against it, rubbing his eyes.
The beast’s growls ease, its eyes focusing on the small girl, its expression softening.
The girl whimpers. She wants her Great Uncle to come back.
The real Stan, he’s still in there.
The eyes grow wide, the fur easing. His claws loosen, his heart aches, and grief comes rushing in.
He…he almost did that…attacked her…he can’t even…
He whines.
A shivering clawed hand reaches to her, the werewolf no longer pinning her. The brown color returns to his eyes, the creature’s expression greatly pained.
He growls.
“You found a what?”
“The Leviathan Stanley…”
Stan pinches the bridge of his nose, giving a frustrated glare. He tightens the bandage around Ford’s torso.
He groans, giving a warning look to the grumbling man.
“And this thing is a good hundred feet in size?”
“Length, it’s an estimate. It could be even more.”
“And a nerd like you thought it’s a good idea to go up to something that can slice you in half?”
Ford grits his teeth.
“It’s a risk I took knowingly, I nee

The Night Shift Short: Bonding
Dipper lies close to his Grunkle Stan, his sore body shivering. The older werewolf curls up tighter around the pup, hoping to at least ease the boy’s pain a little.
“How you feeling now?”
“It hurts less but that’s not saying much.” He presses his body against Stan’s.
“I can grab something upstairs if it makes ya whine less.”
“No, we have to stay down here until they’re back.” Dipper groans.
Stan shoots an annoyed glance at the pup, flashing a fang. He buries his head between his arms

The Night Shift Short: Calming the Beast
She hugs his chest tightly, lying deep into it.
The snarling beast roars and bares his fangs at the girl and yet could not sink his fangs into her.
‘You’re a horrible Grunkle, can’t even stop myself from attacking my own niece! Dang it just let her go!’
His jaws hang open, his roaring deafening.
He's going to kill this girl, and she won't even run.
He wishes she could hear what he tried screaming out.
Dang it, he loves this kid and he can't even…
His left arm shaking as he clutches her, he refuses to let his claws touch her.

She grabs the knob, but she finds herself hesitating.
Stan has gone deathly quiet. Not a single sound has come out of his room for the past hour. And it’s getting pretty creepy being in the darkness of the Mystery Shack by herself.
She frowns, placing her head against the door.
“Grunkle Stan? Are you feeling better? You don’t have to hide.”
“You don’t want to see me...” his breathing heavy, his voice has a slight growl.
